What Is "The House of Rock?"

The House of Rock is Crosspoint's new ministry facility located on Spring Ave, just south of Wal-Mart.  Construction is now underway in this 12,000 square foot facility sitting on 12 acres.  This facility will be used as our "base of operations" to expand the gospel throughout North Alabama.

The House of Rock is divided into three zones of activity.

Fusion Childrens Ministry: Our newborn through grade 5 children's ministry has 5 spaces equipped for age appropriate learning environments.  Fusion is located in a secure area of the facility complete with restroom facilities and "The Nucleus" where volunteer's kids (VIP's) can chill when they are there for multiple services.  Also our REVOLT Student Ministry will share space in our Elementary Worship Theater.

Lobby and Crosspoint Cafe': At the center of the building running front to back is the lobby.  It divides Fusion from the Worship Auditorium and provides a place for guests and members to connect in a relaxed environment.  On one end of the lobby is the Crosspoint Cafe' which will provide a "Starbucks" like coffee house experience.

Worship Auditorium: The auditorium is where we put "The Rock" in "The House of Rock!"  This 380 seat (comfy padded chairs, not pews!) auditorium will be equipped with state of the art video, audio and some pretty cool lighting.  It has a large stage for our worship team flanked by a video production room and a "Green Room" for people on stage to chill and prep for their portion of the service.

When will it be ready?: Construction is going smoothly and we expect to occupy The House of Rock in late fall 2010.  Stay tuned here and we will keep you updated with photos and breaking news.
